How it works

A simple, honest look at what happens after you tell us about a property. The steps may change as details are settled, and we will not ask you to commit to anything along the way.

Five steps

Step 1

Tell us about the property

Share a few basics about the property and your situation. Skip anything you are not comfortable sharing.

Step 2

MHT Investments Inc reviews the fit

MHT Investments Inc looks at what you shared, such as the property, its condition, who lives there and what you hope to accomplish, and considers whether it fits its acquisition criteria. Not every property is a fit.

Step 3

We discuss the available path

If there may be a fit, we talk through the available path with you. A conventional listing may turn out to be the better choice. You decide what, if anything, to do next.

Step 4

Purchase terms are presented separately

If MHT Investments Inc wants to proceed, the proposed purchase terms and any required disclosures are presented to you separately, in writing, before you commit to anything.

Step 5

Brokerage help is handled separately

If you would rather have brokerage representation, that is a separate relationship through My Key Real Estate, with its own disclosures and a written agreement.

Sharing information does not obligate you

Telling us about a property does not commit you to anything, and it does not guarantee an offer. Not every property is a fit, and you can stop at any point.

What we may ask about

  • The property type and where it is located.
  • Its general condition and any repairs it may need.
  • Whether it is occupied, vacant or rented.
  • Who owns it and who can make decisions about a sale.
  • Your timeline and what you hope to accomplish.

Please do not include account numbers, government ID numbers or medical details.

What this process does not promise

To keep expectations honest, here is what we cannot promise at this stage:

  • That every submission will receive an offer.
  • A specific price, closing date or response time.
  • That a particular kind of sale or buyer will be involved.
  • That a property will be a fit.

If there is a fit, the next steps and terms are explained to you in writing. You are never obligated to accept.

Yes. A conventional listing is often the right choice, and you should compare. See the Sell Your Property page for a side-by-side.

Tell us what you can. Tenants, estates and shared ownership are common situations to look at, though not every one is a fit.
